Subscription upgrade

I have sky sports as part of my package, it works fine on sky go,but on sky Q , I get the message. You do not subscribe to this channel press red to upgrade, when I do press the button, says you already subscribe to this channel, yet it doesn't play.. ?

Any sky sports channels except sports news

I did a system update, reconnect to router and power disconnect. Without success. Called sky spoke to advisor and after 20 mins on call was disconnected

Hi @Davefletch 

Assume you have tried rebooting your Q box?
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

 

Also check your Sky Q package in your  Q box Home menu.

Scroll down to My Sky at the bottom of the menu.   See if Sky Sports is listed in your package.

Thanks for your patience old fella. Yes I have rebooted my Qbox. No change. Sky sports was working fine last week. But has suddenly stopped. My subscription lasts till 2027. And as I have mentioned, when I pressed red button to upgrade, says already subscribed.

Hi @Davefletch 

You could try refreshing your viewing card.

Home - Settings - System info.
Highlight Viewing card number and then select Setup on the right hand side.
Then select Use this option to trigger a callback

No call is actually made but the Viewing card should be refreshed.

 

Failing this it looks like you need to contact Sky for them to refresh at their end.

Don't know if my last message posted, if not I thanked you for your patience and help. But I'll have to wait for my wife to stop watching her programmes to try that,. I'll update you when and how I got success.
