In theory, yes: you could, for example use an HDMI ARC port on the television to feed an AV receiver.
However this risks completely messing up the intended sound mix, and, potentially, has the TV output fractionally behind that of the Soundbox which would be horrible.
The Soundbox was always intended to be the alternative to a 'real' surround system, not an addition to one.
