Soundbox echo
I have just had my SkyQ box replaced after an issue but this has created an annoying issue with the sound box. Every 20-30s there is a very brief echo that wasn't there before. I have tried all online tips to cure this but nothing works. I don't want to mute my tv as I use other devices on the tv. Any ideas?

hi @Robbo64a
Do you have sound coming from both the Soundbox & TV at the same time ?
TBH If this the case I am suprised you have not had issues in the past

Re: Soundbox echo
It does come through both at the same time although the tv is very brief, less than a second, but didn't happen with the old SkyQ box

Re: Soundbox echo
Er
This might be the first time I've ever heard of someone leaving the volume of both up at the same time
does the sound box not support ARC allowing it to also handle the audio for your other sources?

Unfortunately the SKY Soundbox does not support ARC

No, in a weird and frankly inexplicable design decision which probably contributed significantly to its ultimate lack of success and eventual extinction as a product. Audio back from the television set was intended to be over the optical audio connection as shown in the official setup guide.
