Software issues on recordings

When watching recordings "there is a technical fault with this channel.Please try later .... I don't want to go to a hardware reset and lose all of my recordings as some great films and comedy on my planner.

Yes I have unplugged it and restarted it several times in last week or so.

Most of my planner says part recorded Software issue ....

It is getting really annoying now 

PLEASE HELP

Oh yeah and now my Internet will not connect again for the 8th time in 24 hours and every command it isn't responding too via remote

Spoke to Sky yesterday and was advised to delete lots of recordings to get my planner down to around 65% ermmmm naaaa lots of great tv on there and besides only had this problem for last couple of weeks and have always lived my life on the edge of around 97% so don't understand why now all of a sudden it is having problems

Living on the edge does literally mean that you are likely to fall over.

I doubt anyone can give you a definitive answer.

 

But you've got little choice but to implement Sky's solution...

 

Bear in mind the hard drive is likely to fail one day or that you'll have to return the box when your subscription ends.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

My sky subscription isn't likely to end just signed up for another 2 years and have been with sky since 1989

Sure but the satellite service may not extend past 2028/9.

Likely because you are working on the capacity brink of the hard drive @StevieB7 .

Every recording you make may exacerbate your issue.

The next thing that may happen is that your Q box will automatically carry out Housekeeping and delete your recordings.  
Best to manually clear some now to see if the issue improves.

Ok ta but any idea while I still lose my Internet too to my sky q box from the router
