Sly q mini box not working

Hi there we switched from sky broadband to bt last week.  The main box paired fine and is working. The mini box upstairs was working after pairing  for a couple of days but now won't turn on. We've followed all the reset instructions, checked the remote etc but ir won't work. Is it a gonner??
