Hi - as sky can't get an engineer to me for 2 weeks(!) I thought I's try the community.
We have a skyq box (residential) and sky business broadband. The skyq box was coinnected to the internet but kept dropping out. A couple of days ago it failed completely. Went through all the diagnostics with sky agent and achieved a coonection through settings > network set up > selecting 3rd party (sky bus is a 3rd party apparently) and the connection worked. However when I go back via the 'home' button it says 'looks like you have no internet connection'. None of the internet services work. Go back to settings and it's still says connected.
Sky agent said we needed a new skyq box so sent one out – diud not solve the problem.
Engineer coming in October (w cheers for Sky)
All works wired btw.
Any of you geniuses have any ideas?
