SkyQ mini box keeps freezing

My Skyq Mini box seems to keep freezing and stuttering in Live TV and also recordings.  If I use the apps, such as YouTube etc, there seems to be no problems, as is connected to the router.  It seems it is when connecting to the main SkyQ box

 

This seems to be getting worse.  I have tried the resetting of teh SkyQ Mini's and the Sky Q main box, but still keep getting the same probelm.  One SkyQ mini is 2 metres away from Sky Broadband Router, and only in the next room to the main SkyQ box

Have you tried rebooting the router, then when that's back up and running rebooting the main box, then the mini box(es)?

Hi @albie9999 

If it is practical you could connect the mini near to your Sky router by Ethernet.

Then carry out a Network reset on the other mini and use the nearest Q device for connection by WPS.  (This can be the Ethernet mini, the main Q box or the Sky router whichever is nearest.

Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to nearest Q device
