SkyQ keeps freezing and crashing

Since Thurs, SkyQ repeatedly freezes and requires plug pulling out. Mainly during playback whilst recording but also during Disney+ app. It's becoming relentless. The symptom is when you fat forward it doesn't respond and keeps playing. Then the menus freeze and just leaves a black screen with the preview screen still there in the corner. Even soft switch off the preview remains.

Re: SkyQ keeps freezing and crashing

Luckily the problem for me only lasted till yesterday morning. Thursday night was a nightmare, reset router, unplugged everything that was plugged in,the tv decided to unconnected to internet so to take care with the password upper and lower cases! Then tv wanted to do updates before it did anything else. Seemed to come back on for 10/15 mins then went blank again. Gave up and in the morning reset the Q box as the blue light was circling, then it just started working again.

Re: SkyQ keeps freezing and crashing

So I saw after I posted, to be honest whilst related I initially thought the issues were different eg never saw error messages or the box switch itself off.
