SkyQ box - two queries

Any help with the following queries would be really appreciated as we can't seem to find definitive answers to them.

Q1  If we move out of a house with SkyQ and a dish temporarily into a house without a dish but keep our SkyQ account going, can we still watch existing recordings on the SkyQ box ?

Q2  If the house in the final move doesn't have a dish, can we start a new contract for SkyQ and get a new dish or has Sky stopped installing dishes meaning we'd need to stream ?

Thanks in anticipation

Hi @rock_hopper

You need to carry out a home move with Sky.    You cannot use your Q box outside of your account Home address.

Initially, probably, yes but the box needs a 'keep-alive' signal from the Satellite & when it doesn't get on it won't work until it gets one

If you arrange a House move, as you should, with SKY they will install a new dish if needed.

(althouh I am guessing you need to keep the accoount active as if you were still at the original address until your final move)
