Sky wifi frequency

I have been having problems with my broadband signal which is provided by a local provider as I am in Guernsey - for the last 8mths the wifi keeps dropping out mulitiple times a day.  After a process of elimination it was determined that sky Q has been draining our signal.  We have now unplugged all of our sky products, mini boxes, boosters etc and our wifi signal is back to strength.  After speaking to your local technician he said that we may need a new Sky Q box?  Can you help

Re: Sky wifi frequency

A new Sky box is unlikely to make a difference as they all broadcast on the same frequency range (WIFi channels 36-48) switching your own WiFi network to a different channel (52 or above) may help.
