Sky test shows error, But !

Checking my system though SKY  service checker, it keeps telling me SKY Q box has a problem.,

everthing seems to be in order, all  is working ok, WiFi connected , picture ok, recording ok.

in fact nothing seems to be  wrong ? Checking Settings on TV. Everything is connected.

so why the recurrence fault message every time I check ?  I'am at a loss what to do .

sky help and BOT useless.

If you cannot see any problems with the service in daily use, I would ignore the service checker personally.

 

It's only really there for if you are experiencing an issue you can see, and then as a double check before getting in touch with Sky. The checker itself might have a fault but your products/service might not.

I believe you are absolutely right, the only fault is in SKYs  own service  checker.? Not a great help as a older non tech person.

Persistence Sky Q box problem :But there isn’t one

Sky keeps telling me I have a Sky Q box problem, but I have no idea why ,as , everything  is working perfectly , just did a reboot , but still get messages of fault.

The last thing I want   to do is a factory reset and lose all recordings and probably much else ? . Others seem to have this message.. suspicious turns to push  from Q to stream ploy?

there is no other lodgical reason to get this only  since  Sky announced  QBox discontinued .

sorry Sky sticking with Q to the end !

It hasn't been discontinued yet! It is still available to order or upgrade to but customers need to call as it's not available to order online.

@IanEA As has already been said if your box is working fine then ignore the message on the app.

 

Sky so far have never said Sky Q has been discontinued they have said they are saying you can no longer order it online but its still available by contacting Sky

I think your probably correct, but begs the question what's the point of a service check if it can't be relied on ? 🎄🎄🎄
