Sky take over Netflix billing
Hello,
I have now spent the best part of a week averaging more than an hour a day with chat support trying to fix this issue and still no progress.
Cancelled Sky but then returned with a better price - All ok
Package includes everything including Ultimate (except HBO/TNT Sports and/or Multi room).
Netflix account was cancelled and suspended by Netflix since Sky notified Netflix that Sky subscriptions had been cancelled (Netflix informed me of this)
Now activated Netflix via direct payment to be able to watch it
When logging into Netflix App, I can log into my Netflix account and watch as normal
But
Sky have not taken over the billing and I am still being billed directly by Netflix
When I click through the following link https://sky.com/shop/netflix/activate . It simply ends up on the following URL: https://www.sky.com/mysky/tv
Netflix is included in your Sky package
I am still being billed directly by Netflix
I have already tried the activation link
Logging in isn't changing the billing arrangement
Every time I connect with an agent they claim to have esclated and will get back to me, either within 24 or 48 hours. Obviously nobody does and it remaings unfixed.
Anyone else encounter similar issues or know how to escalate this further with Sky beyond their stand support chat?
Thanks

I am in exactly the same boat. Also keep getting this screen to say my netflix is cancelled/suspended with a phone number to call when trying to go through activate netflix. Called the number which is netflix, who were tbh useless. No option to recover account etc. Any solution yet?

Are try to activate you Netflix account though your Sky subscription (the ultimate tv pack) or though Netflix direct? If you are trying to activate Netflix though Sky you can check if Netflix which is shown a the ultimate tv pack shows in " your products" either by looking in my Sky app or loging on to your account on Sky.com web site. You can look on you bill in "bills and payments" on the same above and see if the "ultimate tv pack" is shown there. If it not your present subscription dose not include Netflix therefore you need to contact Sky to get it add or as there is not much difference in price (about 50p cheaper though Sky) you can go on Netflix bpweb site and easily up date your payment details on there to get Netflix back

Re: Sky take over Netflix billing
Can you open up a new chat please as this issue is still not resolved and despite your assurances that someone would get back to me on at least 10 different communications

@tsldn I have escalated this to sky
You may receive an email or a private message inviting you to have a private conversation on the Community with a Sky Expert.
Look out for a chat bubble at the bottom of your screen inviting you to a chat
If you are using the Safari browser please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the chat bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
The link below explains how the escalation process works

Re: Sky take over Netflix billing
After 2 months of attempts and basically
nobody at Sky able to fix the issue I have resolved this myself so posting here for others to view in the future.
If you negotiate a new deal with Sky including Netflix after cancelling your agreement you may need to follow these instructions.
once your new contract is active and all subscriptions running as expected (but Netflix is still being invoiced to you directly)
contact Netflix and ensure that the Sky account is unliked from your Netflix account
then contact Sky and ask them to remove Netflix subscription from your account
(this should reduce the cost of you pay for premium)
wait two days for it to clear from account
log out from Netflix from your Sky TV
log into My Sky (I did from phone)
you should see an option to upgrade to include Netflix again under your account
Click upgrade
wait for an hour or so
once confirm by Sky this is included in your package
click through to Netflix via your TV Sky and you will be presented with an option to link you Netflix account
done 👍🏻
