Sky Q wifi connection.

my sky q box has recently started disconnecting from wifi. I reconnect it and it works for. Bit then fails again.  It's really tiresome.  I have absolutely amazing virgin wifi   I get over 1gbps download 700mb upload.   I've tested it on my phone right next to the sky box.  Fantastic performance.  So I know 100% it is not my wifi.   I have 40 devices on my network and they all work fine.  Why is my sky q box doing this.  Do I need a new box. Fed up

Try solitting the 2.4 and 5GHz wifi channels to separate SSIDs on the router

Same issue where it frequently disconnects from Internet and won't reconnect And when connect it to the 2.4G connect Skq drops this in favour of the 5G connect then drops it

It's not 5G, it's 5GHz. 5G is a mobile phone network technology. That just means 5th Generation as far as I know. Confusing overlap of similar terms.

do you mean you have 2 SSIDs, one for each band, and it still changes to the 5GHz one after you connect it to the 2.4GHz network?
