Sky saying I haven’t returned a sky qbox

I signed up for a sky glass in August so was naturally sending back all the sky q equipment. I received the packaging and label and went to my post office the next day. I had a receipt that I had every intention of keeping. But after a few weeks I thought they must have received the equipment that was no use to me. 
Then a few weeks later the emails, texts started along with endless calls to India where i struggle sometimes to be understood and understand. 
I've heard from the local post office this happens a lot and its sky cashing in on products that have been returned. 
im furious. I've been with sky for 25 years for tv, broadband and telephone. 
im being made to feel like im trying to fiddle the system which couldn't be further from the truth. If I wasn't tied into phone contracts and sky glass I'd tell them I don't want to give them my customer anymore. 
has anyone had a successful outcome to this nightmare?
