Sky remote not working

Hello

 

My Sky remote seems not to be working.  I have switched off at the wall, waited and have switched back on.  This just seemed to suddenly stop working and I only realised once I tried to use the remote to change a channel, although it had been working previously.  Please can you help as I cannot change channel,  or do anything.

Hi @Angela455 

Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

However I can change channels using the up and down button, so it is not my battery

Yes I have just done this and 'Your Sky Q remote is now paired to your Sky Q box via Bluetooth', and the next step is to 'Continue', but my remote is not working to 'Continue'.  When I press the middle button to continue, nothing is happening.  It seems that only some of the buttons are working????

Hi @Angela455 

Check the following link and it will lead to a form for a replacement remote.

In the meantime if you have an Apple device with Sky Go you can set up a virtual remote to control your Q boxes.
