Sky q tv essentials
Help please.
sky operatives can't even answer my queries, so confirmation from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
1 if I have programs that are FTA and in HD on my sky box, would they play back in HD if I downgrade to the sky q tv essentials pack?
2 can I record in HD any program that is FTA and in HD.
i only ever watch terrestrial channels so paying £50 a month for sky just seems daft.
Trouble is I have a lot of programs recorded that I haven't watched yet 🙂
look forward to your responses
thanks

hi @Potemkin22
Yes any FTA HD channel programmes recorded from the live channels can still be watched with essentials
Note there is a oddity that whilst you can watch & record from C4 & C5 in HD, downloads from them require the HD add on
Some FTA channels are SD only with their HD equivalents only available via subscription (& recordings from the HD channels would not be watchable after a downgrade) A couple of these closed in HD recently anyway (U&W being one)
