Sky q recording playback. Mini box

Recently I noticed that the playback on my sky q mini box for recordings has stopped working. It seems to only stutter every know and again if its recorded from the TV but if its downloaded it barely plays at all. Kind of like it is buffering. But when I stop watching out of frustration I can watch apps fine and my Internet connection is fine. The main box does not have this ust the mini box.

Hi @Sagoe25 Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot, do the same with the Mini box?

Same problem here, stutter on the Mini box making watching recorded programmes unwatchable. Doesn't matter if the original programme was recorded on the Q box upstairs or on the mini box downstairs....sound goes on the recording plus appalling lag. Before anyone at Sky mentions rebooting anything, both the Q & Mini are wired through Ethernet directly to the Eero router and we we have no recording issues/playback on the main Q box.

Is WiFi disabled?  (It has a habit of re-enabling)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@PandJ2020

Hi. Yes, WiFi is disabled on both Sky Q box & Mini box as both are wired via Ethernet. I recorded the Scotland v England rugby match on the Q box, tried to watch that recording on the downstairs Mini and gave up, the lag and freezing plus loss of audio made it unwatchable. Went back upstairs and it played back perfectly on the Q box.
Definately not an internet connection/wifi issue as I can download programs downstairs on the Mini no issues plus, can stream Netflix/Prime etc on the Mini no issues. Oddly, watching TNT channel suffers same lag/audio issues on the Mini....all other channels watched "live " on the Mini are fine.
I suspect it is a sign the Mini box is on the way out?
Thanks

@PandJ2020

Meant to say, I check for the WiFi re-enabling itself issue on a regular basis....it's still off on both Q & Mini box.
Thanks for your prompt reply.
