Sky q not working

Can anyone help before these boxes go in the bin

the connection from my sky q box and a mini box constantly buffers , drops out etc

i have even hard wired the network from router to mini and still having the issues

already had a engineer out who sorted all the ring network out so they are all talking to each other

but I still get " there's a problem connecting between mini box and sky q box

Hi @Rosenthistle

Connecting the mini by Ethernet to your router will only help of you are on Sky Broadband.

If you are on 3rd party broadband (or have the white Sky Max router),  to use Ethernet all Q boxes need to connected by Ethernet to your router.

Re: Sky q not working

Morning,

Thank  you for your reply, I do have the white Sky hub box , but Broadband is from Virgin, If i plug in to the sky booster box, do you think that will solve the issue?

Also if i plug the router to the sky box aswell would that improve anything?

If that is a sky wifi booster it's no use. If it's a Q booster it might work. Is the Q connected to it or to the Virgin router?

and yes using ethernet throughout and disabling wifi on the Q boxes is the best solution.
