Sky q mini return

• So my sky q mini has stopped working, ordered a new one which sky has sent out. Only to come home today and find out that the delivery company (DPD) has taken it back quoting item not delivered as return item was not left out. Sky never asked me anything about returning old box so not really sure what this is about. I was of the understanding that I would return box through An Post Anyone have the same problem?

No sure about Ireland but it's always a doorstep swap in the UK.

The courier won't expect you to leave the box "out", but would expect it to be disconnected and ready for swapping at the doorstep.
