Sky q mini boxes

My sky q box stopped recording etc and in the end would just say please wait. 
I have reset hard drive and lost all my recordings but it seems fine now and very quick at downloading BUT my three mini boxes keep freezing and says "you can't currently watch tv as there is an issue with connectivity between this mini and q box" 

I have checked everything and it's still doing it every couple of minutes. Help!

Hi @Mattdeb2023 

First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Reboot the minis as above.
If the mini still does not connect try a Network Reset on the mini.  Start with the mini nearest to the main Q box.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).

If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box. If you do this make sure you press the Sky router WPS button and not the router reset button.  If the afirst connected mini is nearer than the main Q box you can also use this for the WPS on the second mini.

I've managed to sort two out but one is still saying it looks like there is no internet connection etc. 

I have just downloaded a program and watching it on the mini box I've fixed but it keeps freezing every now and then for a couple of seconds. 
I feel the main box might need replacing!

Quite possibly although it might also have decised to use a different link to connect to the Q box via the wifi mesh when it all got reset and disrupted. Moght be worth a network reset on it and forcing it to WPS connect via whichever  box you think works best.

I have a new box coming today as the mini boxes will not play any thing now saying connection problem. The main box although can watch live I will not go on uhd.  
so it's had it.

@Mattdeb2023 if it's coming by DPD they will expect you to gave your old box ready to swap for the new box remember to remove your viewing card
