Sirs, A total nightmare with Sky Direct. Since mid December i have spent countless hours with various persons and still no tv. Two and a half hours with lady from Bulgaria (not sorted!) plus many hours with others , including hours with lost tel connections, wrong departments etc. Finally asked for an engineer - probvided with a Ref No VR 009 476 56. Informed that engineer would attend 31st Dec - did not turn up. Contacted local Sky engineers, and told they had no record of me ???? Contacted Sky today and finally managed to book an engineer - but did not (found later he had immediately cancelled it).
Main problem with your system is unable to talk with anyone in uk, also hours speaking to a computer, misdirected calls to wrong departments , loss of telephone contact - the list is endless!! Experience a total nightmare, and wonder why i bother with sky direct insurance.
Finally spoke to a uk based engineer, who understood my communication problems , and managed to book me an engineer for 14th Jan. Full marks to to him, otherwise a horrendous experience !! Not happy!!!

Yes, aware of that - just thought someone in the community may have had some tips for contacting the proper departments as calls are often mixed up between departments, and frequntly lost. Finally managed to get through to a uk based person and soon fixed - and yes, i have complained to the appropriate addresses. Thanks anyway for your response.
