Sky q mini box has no volume

I have changed hdmi cable and swapped it with another mini box so its not the tv its the sky q mini box

Have you tried restarting it by switching off at the plug for a minute?

Yes been completely disconnected for 2 days  tried it again tonight. Perfect picture but no volume 🙄

hi @Tilly+minx 

A couple of things to try, although they may not be sucessful, I think worth trying

Firstly go to 

Home - Settings - Setup - Audio Visual
Digital audio output HDMI

and change the setting to Normal  - if it already is change to Dolby Digital and come right out & then go back & change back

If that doesn't work -  I know this is a very long shot but I  still think worth trying (even though a different mini worked) is to completely power down the TV (unplug or swiitch off at the mains) and then re-apply power
