I genuinely want someone to help me understand what I have got with sky q I did not have with old box. So far I just find everything far more difficult. I know there is nothing I can do about it but please somebody help me to understand why sky invented something much trickier than the old. I have Fire stick for apps so no advantage there. I understand the virtually unusable remote can be replaced by one suitable for arthritic fingers that doesn't have tiny buttons with stop and go on the same one! Why the engineer didnt give me that one when he went through mind boggling user instructions i dont know. so please can someone help me to understand the why......,
thank you, whoever you may be.

Hi @Rosie842
Its approaching 9 years since Sky Q was introduced.
Main advantage over Sky + is the ability to simultaneously record six programs and watch a seventh.
Also the main Q box is UHD capable.
With the future of Satellite broadcasting uncertain, Sky Q life is now limited.
