Sky q box failing to connect to eir router

My eir router had to be replaced.

Everything that needed to be connected phones tv's laptops tablets etc connected without issue.

My sky q box initially connected and worked for about 1/2 hour.

Now every time I turn on my skyq box I have to  look for the router it only appears about 10% of the time and when I find it it takes about 10 times before it accepts the password. The next time I turn on sky I have to do the same thing. How do I solve this
