Hi @Tmcfly
Did you
Try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu ?
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.
Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.
Resetting the settings will also reset:
Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

Hi @oldfella it's on 1080i. I did try it on 1080p but that made no difference either so have put it back to 1080i

@Tmcfly You arent the only one because I have the same issue I had Sky Q installed on Sunday 26th March so you aren't the only one and my TV is Samsung both using the recommended settings but most broadcast programmes contain the judder mostly when people's faces are moving on the screen it is noticeable and is doing my head in and making me want to cancel. It doesn't seem to happen on Netflix as far as I could tell. These issues are not TV related because with Virgin TV I didn't have any of these issues. Let's hope someone from Sky sees this with some answers

Hi @Dazzey
I rang Sky as nothing suggested on here worked. They sent an engineer out who replaced the box and I've had no issues since. Hope you get yours sorted.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePicture judder is quite often an issue with Samsung tv sets.
All brands should have 'Judder/Motion Control' or similar settings in the menus to help resolve the issue.
Had a Samsung TV which I could never get to work on all channels at once - using a Sky box and a VM box.
Changed the brand and no problems anymore.

All of my samsungs are currently experiencing no judder what so ever, and never done so, yet an LG I purchased for my daughter was simply terrible and unwatchable.
The usual tv setting for Samsung tv's to eliminate judder, this is without knowing the model, is to go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Auto Motion Plus Settings (Picture Clarity Settings). Then turn it to off or custom with both at zero.
