Sky not working
I have a Sky + HD box which stopped working 3 weeks ago, at that time I tried all the online fixes but nothing worked so contacted Sky who said Imwould have to upgrade to Sky Q however the first engineer available to come out was yesterday 20/8/25 between 12 - 5 soI booked that, waited in all afternoon with no sign of anyone, no communication so my daughter logged onto my online account and said there was a problem but she could not rebook it.
I pay £60+ per month and have been unable to access anything, trying to get in contact via phone or online has been useless, I have been looking at alternatives but I am still in comtract with, however if they are unable to provide the service I am paying for then is this a breach of the contract? Any advice on what I should do would be apprecited.

Re: Sky not working
@titchy1999 Really needs to be somewhere else as not a Broadband issue but more sky Q. Heads up your dish head will possibly need to be replaced also along with your old HD+ unit! If all else fails think that you are going to do the call route to find out where you stand installation wise!

Re: Sky not working
I have moved your post as it's not a broadband issue.
Its not a breach of contract at all. You've agreed to upgrade from Sky+ to Sky Q and unfortunately it didnt happen yesterday as you expected.
You need to contact Sky, find out why there's a delay and rebook. Only once your Sky Q is up and running can you ask Sky if they'll apply a credit to your Sky account for the time you've not had the service but it's not guaranteed.
