Sky multi room missing apps

I have all the apps on the Sky Q box but with multi room viewing some of the apps are missing. ITVX and paramount being the obvious two.

Anyone found this issue and if so how did you resolve it ?

Hi @Bikerboy62 

First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Reboot the mini as above.

I have tried the reboot process twice now -it doesnt make any changes to the apps

Hi @Bikerboy62 


Try a Reset Settings in the mini box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.

Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

Try refreshing the apps on the mini box:

 

  1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings
  2. Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu
  3. Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.

The refresh can take 24 hours to complete.

I keep getting the message " there was a problem refreshing your apps" no matter what I try. Sky Q main box rebooted and mini box rebooted multiple times.

After reading multiple posts about missing apps on skyq mini boxes can I please say one thing, "Make sure the box has the latest software version installed". When the software is up to date just go through the app update and everything should be ok and all your apps will appear, good luck.
