Sky minibox connectivity issues

One of my sky miniboxes frequently displays a message "you can't watch tv at the moment due to connectity issues.  A total reboot of the main box and the mini box sometimes sorts this but not always.  If you ignore the problem it usually sorts itself out the following day.  Any ideas what is causing this
