You can watch Sky content on two minis and the main box at the same time. You may be able to use a 3rd mini box at the same time if you’re using it for one of the apps such as Netflix.
The original 1TB (non-UHD) Sky Q box only allows one mini to be in use. All 2TBs and the UHD/HDR 1TB permit two mini boxes. Each mini box which is loaned to you may be subject to a one off upfront charge but you only need one Sky Q monthly Multiscreen subscription.

To check if you have one of the older non UHD boxes @Daniel0210 mentions look in :
Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it says 32Cxxx then you have one of the non UHD boxes that does only support one active mini.
Are you totally new to SKY or is this an upgrade from SKY + / HD
SKY do tend to only issue the older non UHD boxes for people upgrading as part of their free or cheap upgrade offers

If it is 32Cxxx then you are restricted to one Mini box in use at one time. If it is 32Bxx then you can view on two at the same time. The 32Cxxx box is normally supplied with a free upgrade.
