So I've recently change to sky broadband and since then have not been able to connect my sky mini box to both my hub or sky Q box I've done all the unplugging resetting followed all instructions and still I can't get it connected please someone help me

First reconnect the main Q box
Carry out a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your Sky router.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
Then carry out a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini).
As you are on Sky Broadband if the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the Sky router instead of the main Q box.

Hi thank you for the quick response, I should have said in my first post I have had to do a wired connection from my main sky Q to my router as the Wi-Fi didn't want to connect this was also driving my up the wall. Does it need to be though wi-if to be able to connect to mini?

No, if you have the Main Q box connected by Ethernet to your Sky router; provided you haven't turned off the main Q box WiFi it should still connect to the mini by WPS WiFi.
When you were trying to connect the main Q box by WiFi to your Sky router, are you sure that you were pressing the WPS button on the router. It is difficult to find unless you know exactly where it is.

I'm definitely pressing the right button yes. I've been trying to get it connected for 3 days and nothing, if I can't sort it soon they can have it back so frustrating.
Everything in my settings on the main box is ticked so I should be able to use the mini box.

I went to my settings to reset wifi, I followed the instructions on screen. Connect to sky broadband pressed the wps on my router waited and nothing. I then tried to just connect to the main box by following on screen instructions again nothing. I also tried connecting to Wi-Fi by choosing the connect using a different broadband provider and then clicking on my hub name and typing in the password to which it tells me is incorrect. Honestly never knew something to be so hard lol

The Main Q box or the Sky Router?
What sort of distance is involved?

My main sky box is the closest to my mini it's right above it in my bedroom. I did try to connect to this also as it asked if there was another sky connection or something so I said yes and tried that

Hi @Sarahb2023
Try the following one more time.
First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Then Reboot the mini exactly as above.
If the mini still does not connect try another Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box. The mini WPS light should flash.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically)
After selecting the Network reset you have 2 minutes to press the main Q box WPS button.
