Sky mini box rip off

Why do we pay £50 for a loan mini box when we are being charged for multiroom on top.

Let me guess a rip off admin fee to extort loyal customers further. I have been with sky since there first launch in early 90's but come May, I'm finished.

Because those are the terms on which Sky make it available. As you've identified, you don't have to obtain one if you don't like the charge. It's not mandatory.

@Anonymous From my perspective the charge is in place as life of subscription maintenance and repair/replacement as well as partly an admin fee.

I don't see it as being a rip off as its entirely an optional extra that has the fee advertised before purchase.
