The sky mini boxes rarely stay connected
ECO mode is off
All updated to current firmware (63yh6dg)
All are connected via wired CAT 8 ethernet
Connection speed is 2.2Gb
Each box has its IP address
Wifi is turned off on each box
Each box says its connected to network
Ive reset each box to factory via the 001 menu
Despite the wifi being off its still saying its connected to wifi! Everything is wired. Even the routers wifi is turned off! Even in the 001 menu it says the 2.5 and 5.0 Ghz are off but in network it says its connected!
Full factory resets have been done and even had skyQ and mini boxes replaced. Even had 4 boosters though they are no longer used as everything is wired.
Its only recently started and always at night.
The main sky q is fine.
I get "proximity warnings" "activation errors"
MR 104 MR109 MR 102 etc
It even says sky viewing card not inserted! Despite being able to watch all subscribed packages. Taking the card out the box then says insert card. So the card works fine.
Im about done with sky and when paying close to £1200 a year for a service that is poor im at a loss as to what todo.
Sky refuse to send an engineer out these days. The mind numbing agents that refuse to deviate from their script of unplug the main sky box etc. Ive done that so much the cable wore out!!
Im sure its still looking for wifi despite being wired and despite the box reporting wifi is off its lying!
If anyone has any suggestions?
