Sky mini box problem

Hi, my sky mini box is not working properly. When going to sky home screen it comes on clearly but then the screen fades and it seemed to be a dark shadow over the screen. The home screen can still be seen but not at all clearly. Hope someone can help with this. Thankyoi

Hi @TERRY611 

Try rebooting the mini.

To reboot press Standby on your mini remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your mini box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the mini (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

  • Hi, many thanks for your help. The problem did resolve It's self later on but will certainly try the things you suggested it it recurs.

Have got more problems with it the the not green light not coming on I need more help please I am learning difficult
