Sky dishes
I have heard in the future sky will be doing away with the dishes on the side of your house is this true?

@Rabblerock There has been no public confirmation that Sky would be doing away with dishes, until they do it's speculation.

The actual satellite will end life spam in 4-5 years so probably inevitable unless something changes.

SKY Stream - the internet offering from SKY - is rapidly gaining pace & realistically where SKY's development now is
As @Daniel0210 says the Satellittes in use will run out of fuel in a few years and are unlikely to be replaced at the position used for UK & Ireland (28.2 E)
