Do I still need a sky dish when using sky Q

Yes SKY Q needs a dish

There is a new product released last year called SKY Stream which works via the internet (like the SKY Glass TV) without a dish

BTW you cannot have SKY Q & SKY Stream together but can switch  from Q to Stream - do note there are some key differences (including around recording)
