Sky chat not working

Hi, sky chat is not working. I'm trying to find out how to take an offer for sky uhd. I have a sky q 1tb box. I've read I will need a 2tb box. How do I get this so I can get uhd when I can't speak to anyone? Thank you.

hi @LFCAW 

you may not need a 2TB to be able to get/use UHD - the latest 1TB boxes  are UHD capable

Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it is 32B2xxx then you have a UHD HDR 1TB (also the same version  for the latest2TB Box)

call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or a Sky Talk landline.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.

Hi, I have 32C009 for my hardware version. I don't call because it's always Indians on the phone now and I have real difficulty understanding them, as they do me also. So I always do live chat (well sky's version of it, when it works). The bot is useless. 

Also social media, I don't do. I don't like it tbh.

hi @LFCAW unfortunately that is the non UHD version - SKY usually charge £99 for an upgrade

Thank you. Well I couldn't even find anything online about an upgrade or costs, so thank you for letting me know. The chat facility just isnt working for me to try find out. Whether uhd is that much difference to hd, I don't know. Thank you 🙂
