Sky channels pin protected

Hi does anyone know why some of the sky channels are suddenly pin protected. Its currently 6.45pm and i cant access 

sky showcase 

sky witness 

sky atlantic 

sky msx 

sky max 

sky max 

there may be more. 
never been a problem before. 
its very annoying no kids in the house do i i have no need to resctrict viewing. 
i have tried the settings- parental menu with no luck.. anyone no how to fix this.

If you're watching age restricted content pre watershed then it'll always ask for the pin regardless of your settings. It is an Ofcom requirement that Sky must adhere to and cannot be overriden by Sky or you.

Sky Atlantic was showing White Lotus, and that's always going to need a PIN up to 21:00

It's the application of Mandatory Daytime Protection which permits transmission before the watershed.
