Hi my sky box will not turn on and is overheating

Firstly, if your Sky Q box is not turning on, follow the advice in this help article;
Sky Q box won't turn on or is stuck on standby | Sky Help | Sky.com

Namely the recovery procedure on step 4.

When you say overheating, can you provide more info?
