Hi @Count+vlad

You may have a hard drive issue.

Work through the following link

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-hard-disk-error-messages
If you do order a new Q box it usually means a doorstep swap.
Don’t forget to keep your viewing card from the failed box if you order a replacement. Also if the box you are replacing is a 2TB there are two versions of power supply. One has a standard C7 (figure of eight) power lead socket in the back of the Q box. The other has a separate power supply. Although this still has the C7 power lead into the power supply there is a multi pin Din power socket in the Q box for connecting the power supply. Make sure that the replacement box has the power supply included if the Q box has the orange coded multi pin din socket in the back of the Q box. See below.

@Count+vlad

If you watch something live right now and press pause for a minute then press play, does it work? That would rule out a problem with the hard drive.

Re: Sky box will not record

Just check your disk space, make sure its under 75% ad re start your box ad it might start working.
In case if that doest work, try resting your disk," There is a catch to it once you reset it your old recordings will get deleted.".

To reset the hard drive:

  1. Press the Home button on your Sky Q remote, highlight Settings then press 0,0,1 and Select.
  2. Select Reset and scroll to Reset hard drive. A warning message will advise all existing and planned recordings will be deleted. Press Select to continue.
  3. Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear then press standby button on the front of your Sky Q box, instead of the Home button on your Sky Q remote.

Once the box has restarted, check you can set and play back recordings. It may take up to five minutes for all features to work.
