Sky box not connecting to satellite

Hi

our sky box is not connecting to the satellite, is there anything I can do to fix this?

What do you mean by not connecting to the satellite? Any error message on screen?

It doesn't connect to the satellite, it's a passive receiver of the broadcast from the satellite. If it says it has no satellite signal, then there's a problem with the dish or a cable or any communal distribution system between the dish and box.

 

A power cycle of the box (I put it in standby beforehand) is always worth a try first.
