Sky Q box crashing after the Sky tv adver

Hi,have done that earlier but I think it takes time to register my preferences.

My main box is doing the same on adverts and the screen just goes black during shows! All mini boxes as absolutely fine. Glad it is not just us as we were wondering if it was the TV but looks like its a box issue. Very annoying having to restart your telly 3 times in an hour show!

Same with us. Started with just Sky adverts during last week so tonight we tried pausing the advert then ff past the end of it (which is when it usually crashes) which seemed to work. Now it's just crashed during a Greater Anglia advert. Having to unplug the box multiple times a night is beginning to get really annoying !!!!!!!

Have had an issue thats started tonight. During adverts my sky box freezes and then I just get a blue screen on every channel until i switch everything off at the socket.

It's happening every 15 minutes now on Challenge,as soon as the adverts come on the box goes off

Mainly on Challenge for us as well and much worse tonight than previously. Have tried smclid's suggested fix earlier in thread so will see if that works....

We are having the same issue  - screen freezes when sky ads come on. Sky Q box did an update on Thursday and we noticed the issue on Saturday evening. We've turned off tailored ads and will wait to see if that works. Hopefully Sky will get this issue fixed  quickly as it is inconvenient to have to turn the box off at the wall during every ad break!

Whenever the Voy weight loss commercial comes on our TV, no matter which channel, the TV freezes and it won't come back on without us resetting the TV.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Thank you

It's still happening today 2nd August and seems to happen every evening! This has been reported by many so how long will it take to resolve?

When do you reckon you'll finish the investigation? This is so not good. You can't enjoy a full program bad enough with your unending advertising and being frozen out each time. Now I'm having to reboot my Sky Q over five times in an evening. It's annoying and frustrating
