Sky a mini boxes loosing connectivity

This has been going on for months. Both mini boxes and main box are now cable connected and WiFi is turned off (didn't realise that WiFi was default setting, despite being Ethernet cabled from day 1).  All boxes have had software updates and a soft reset (loathe to do a hard reset, unless it's guaranteed to fix issues). Always happens when trying to view recordings on a mini box, and very often when just viewing anything.

I also have a lag on the programme guide appearing on the main box (this is a relatively newer issue). Even rebooting every day does nothing, in fact on the first attempt it usually fails to connect.
The 1gb internet connection is not an issue. Have changed provider but still problem persists. The network works perfectly with everything else, and the connectivity issues occur whether there are many connected devices (including PS5) or low use.

Think that's covered all the 'usual solutions'.

So help required.

Re: Sky a mini boxes loosing connectivity

I've also been having this problem for months! Currently trying to reconnect for the 7th time now! It's so frustrating and even the mini box that's wired to the internet and in the next room to the main box, I'm still getting this issue.

To try and reset the boxes would mean doing it every day as it doesn't solve anything.

It would be nice if Sky found a permanent fix as half the time I'm paying for a service I can't use!

I guess we both will be spending time with the bots, repeating everything to get an enginer visit, but I suspect we will be told to do a hard reset.
