Sky Viewing Card Not Being Recognised Again..

Hi there

 

Further to an earlier post on the same subject while watching Sky TV last night the message "Please insert your viewing card" came up.  Having powered down the box and restarted it, the viewing card is still not being recognized.  Don't fancy not having Sky TV over the Christmas period....

 

 

Any ideas??

Looks like a problem with the Viewing Card or a faulty card reader within the box. You could try wiping the card with a soft, dry cloth, but if that doesn't help you'll need to report it to Sky.
