Sky TV engineer cancelling visit.

Moved house on the 28th May, sky TV engineer was booked to arrive at new property on the 4th June between 12-5pm and they cancelled the appointment due to being to busy.  Now appointment was suppose to be on the 17th June, checked on my sky app and its been booked for the 20th. Your service is shocking I've had to book a day off for this cancellation and now going to be with out sky TV service for near enough a month. For a customer who has been with sky for so many years the service I've received is disgusting.  When I spoke to a member of your team regards the possibility of this happening again I was told I could then call to cancel my contract.  I cannot believe I have to wait so long for an engineer to visit to install the service.

Re: Sky TV engineer cancelling visit.

@Mark1d

It's likely partly due to the winding down of the satellite service. As was reported by Sky News earlier this year, many Sky engineers are losing their jobs as the company focuses on the switch to streaming services.

Unfortunately this means there are far fewer satellite engineers and wait times are longer.
