Does anyone know the manual tuning frequencies for Sky Sports Ultra HD? I have found some info but it doesn't seem to be working on SKY Q. Thanks
Does manual tuning even work for ultra hd channels? I believ DVB-S is for SD channels and DVB-S2 is for HD chanels, but having updated the box it still doesn't work.
The info I have is this:
Freq: 122246.00
Pol: V
Standard: DVB-S2
Modulation: 8PSK
SR: 27500
FEC: 2/3

Why are you manually tuning your box?
When you're watching the Sky sports channel it will present you the option to watch in UHD if its avaiable, you shouldn't be fiddiling with tuner settings.

I'm literally baffled myself

Mostly so i can manually record. Sky Sports have become rubbish with this ability lately. series linking etc is poor for sports.

Not having any problems with recording Sky Sports here.

It's, for example, on Super Sunday when they don't show the first part in UHD.
Do you know the frequency?

You can't record off manually tuned channels on SKY Q - you can only record from the EPG or 'Tiles' on various pages

Okay, different to SKY + back in the day.
Do you know the frequency?

That is correct SKy + let you set manual recordings and adjust times - SKY Q doesn't
There are a few different transponders that get used -for UHD feeds - I haven't looked for the actual frequencies
Like others, I really don't see any point in trying to set them up manually - the manual tuning on SKY Q is poor - it only allows you to watch live & is a bit of faff to access- for any channels that you have as part of your subscription best way to access them is through the EPG or other links
The manual tuning is really only useful for Freesat channels 'out of area' (e,g, for Ireland viewers wanting to access ITV)

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou cannot manually tune any of the sky or Astra uhd transponders that are available to your Sky q box and dish combination.
They have never been available to view either via manual tuning on a Sky q box.
By the way you have an extra 2 in your frequency listing.
The main active uhd services on the Sky q dish alignment are below;

There are some backup ones also.

That is not the case.
If you wish to follow Sky transponder changes and ask questions around it, there is a thread dedicated to it on the digital spy forums here;

No worries about the recording bit, albeit annoying.
I don't see why it matters. It's a manual channel anyway through the "select" button. It's not in the EPG and has been in the "other showings" part less and less; hence another reason why I am asking.

These are the ones I have tried but they don't work for some reason. Why I was asking. I can access all the HD/SD channels that way just not the UHD channels.
the simple solution to all of this is to have UHD channels for both the SSpremier league and SSfootball channels. Solves all problems bar the fact you can only record 2 UHD channels at once despite Sky's marketing still advertising 5/6 channels

@JackintheSkyQBox SSPremier Leaque have matches in UHD and So does SS Football which will be streamed on SS ME/UHD at the same time if available via the red button
So I can record SS ME/UHD SS F1 UHD and record either one or both in HD and watch live in UHD all at the same time.
Do you have the UHD subscription and is your tv set to 2160@10 bit?
