Sky Sports Racing Freezing On Sky Q

Sky Sports Racing picture freezes when watching . It's extremely annoying . This is using Sky Q. Surely you must know at SkycHQ . This needs fixing.

As yours is the only post I've seen on the issue (I've just watched the last race and it was fine), it's more likely a local issue with your setup.

Can you explain what you mean by 'freezing' ?

Hi it's been freezing on and off for about a week. You will watch a race and the picture freezes for around a second or two then comes back. My friend( also Sky Q) has exactly the same issue so it's not a set up issue and definitely a Sky issue. There are also other posts I have read with same issues with sky sports channels.

hi @Markgunners 

It should be noted that SKY Sports Racing (along with the History HD channel) uses a European wide transponder which is weaker than the UK/Ireland specific transponders that most channels use

Thus this is one of the first channels to show any slight mis-alignement  

How does the SKY History HD channel work for you  (assuming you have the HD add on) 

Although on another transponder ,  how does GB News work for you (it is on another weaker European transponder)

Sky Sports Racing HD UK Uses an UK Transponder...

Only the Irish version is on a EU Transponder.

I haven't noticed any issues with Sky Sports Racing.

If you're in the UK, when you have problems check France 24 (510), TJC (662), or S4C (134) as they are on the same frequency.

Hi

We just need Sky to fit it as it's becoming very annoying and especially as the service isn't cheap so one expects a quality service.

Its very on and off but that doesn't mean it's acceptable.

Be nice if Sky replied.
