Sky Sound Box

Sky Sound Box mutes the TV when in HDMI mode so only able to use TV speakers. Also the Sound Box turns itself on and mutes TV every time I use the Home button to access recordings etc. It's driving me nuts.

Has it previously worked as expected?  The Soundbox is now long out of support by Sky.
