Hi @MDC83 As YouTube is streaming app, the ff and rw controls will be governed by your internet speed to your SKYQ box.

The content has to download before it can fast forward, or rewind.

Ive had this same problem. As Youtube doesn't have a "start over" button, the only way to get back to the start of a video is to rewind and doing that via the Sky app is VERY slow

I did a comparison of using the Youtube app on my TV and using the Youtube app on my Sky Q box and the TV is way quicker

This is missing functionality, the answer given is not quite right as you can do it on your phone using the same network. I can jump to a position in the stream and the YouTube app determines where that is and plays from there almost instantly, it also fast forwards better. You can press the right side of the screen to fast forwards in chunks of seconds, multiple presses together increases that amount. This is functionality is needed when watching long videos on the sky Q box.

I second @dudeonline on this, the YouTube version on Sky Q is limited compared to others, mostly due to the Q hardware getting a bit long in the tooth I suspect.

But using the app on your phone, then linking it to the one on your Q box, does give more control.
