Sky Signature and Sky Ultimate?

Wondering if someone can clear this up for me before I go ranting to Sky.

Is Sky Signature still available to new customers, or has it been replaced with Sky Ultimate? If so, how long has Sky Ultimate been available?

We renewed our contracts in November, and this meant continuing our Sky Signature tv package with Sky Q. Sky Ultimate was not mentioned or offered to us.

Now we're reading that next month, Netflix will be included for free for Sky Q customers who have Sky Ultimate. As we don't have Ultimate (and only Sky Signature) it means we won't get Netflix for free.

If Sky Ultimate has replaced Sky Signature for new customers, it's pretty frustrating Sky haven't switched us over when we renewed.

Re: Sky Signature and Sky Ultimate?

Ultimate TV has been available for several years. It is an optional extra which adds Netflix (Basic with Ads) on top of Sky Signature, for about £4 more per month.

Netflix has never been 'free' : Ultimate TV costs more than Signature.

The upcoming options with HBO Max and Disney+ also very much aren't free: why would they be?

I am sorry you are wrong  the ultimate tv package on SkyQ cost only £4.50 at present and only gives you Netflix standard with ads, it extra to signature which is the main entertainment package and cost £42 a month ( without any discount)  You are probably confusing the Ultimate tv package on Sky Q with ultimate package on sky steam  which is that platforms entertainment package.

Re: Sky Signature and Sky Ultimate?

The new ultimate tv package will £24 sposablyvfor new customers according press realise it will be part of excisting customers package which my prodicted April bill shows £5.50 but I will be keeping a eye on it when the new service starts. I there suggest that if you have not got the ultimate tv package on you package you get put on now as I would after 26 March you will probly be charged the new rate of £24 a month

hi @DaveDrizen

I think you are getting confused between the Stream product of Ultimate which is effectively Netflix + Signature rather than the Ultimate add on on SKY Q which is always listed in bills separately even when it has been bundled with Signature.

On top of the base Ultimate add on,  you may also have Boost to Standard or Boost to Premium add ons

Re: Sky Signature and Sky Ultimate?

Thanks - I was looking at this as well ecause Sky had messaged me to say that I would be getting DISNEY+ (as well as the other less interesting stuff) added "for no extra cost" (ergo: FREE). I now realise that I must take out Netflix With Adverts for £5.50 (wef 01/04/2026) in order to get the DISNEY+ (also with adverts).

As I've only got Sky Signature , not Ultimate (i.e. with Netflix added to price), I therefore do NOT get the Ultimate Only add-ons.

No worries...I get DISNEY+ FREE from having  LLOYDS Banking Account anyway 🙂

@tomba

You do not need to take out Netflix to get Disney+

SKY Q customers with Signature will  get Disney+
