Sky + Rugby League streaming

Why does this service constantly suffer from

1. Freezing

2. Sound cutting out

3. Picture degradation

i am trying to watch York v Leeds 23/8/26 and am experiencing all of the above issues.

Please do not suggest this is a bandwidth issue as I am on Sky Fibre Max with a Sky Max Hub and extender pod and an average download speed of 910 Mbps.

This appears only to be an issue with live rugby league streaming and does not happen on other streaming channels.

This makes watching streamed rugby league very frustrating especially considering how much I pay Sky each month..

I am aware that many other users abre experiencing the same issues.

Can this issue be sorted out once a pond for all?

@Geoffers56 Sky+ equipment has no streaming capability. Do you have Sky Stream? Or Sky Glass?

Channel 404 Sky Sports+ is showing the F1.

Sky+ (where you've posted) customers cannot receive red button sport. Customers with Sky+ (with the full sports subscription) will only receive the Sky Sports+ Channel (channel 404), but will not have access to the live streams of any other games on simultaneously as Sky+ is not compatible. You can watch on the Sky Sports app on a mobile or tablet.

Live rugby league streaming is available on the Sky+ equipment by selecting 

APPS - Sky Sports and then selecting the stream you wish to watch. 
Other live streams are also available at this location.

The point I'm making is that the Rugby League streaming and does suffers from the issues I noted in my original post, other sports streams work perfectly without issue

As SKY + does not have any apps I think you have SKY Q, which does have apps

Sky Plus equipment CANNOT run any App, it was designed well before Sky started using apps thus the hardware is not able to run modern streaming apps

Same issue, it's the same for football and tennis, nobody seems to have an answer, absolutely awful picture quality and endless freezing and stuttering, glad it's not just me.

If you're experiencing this across all sports in the App, then it's likely caused by a poor/slow/unstable internet connection.

I have Sky Fibre 150 connected by Ethernet to my Sky Q box, it's rock solid and at full speed. Never had this issue last season with football, only started last night and today!
